Is the Pixel Health Checker free?

Every account gets one free check, then it's 1 credit each (the free monthly credits cover normal use). The detection itself is rule-based; a credit covers the optional AI fix tips.

What can it actually detect?

Tags present in your page's HTML source: Meta Pixel (fbq / connect.facebook.net), GA4 (G-XXXX / gtag), Google Ads (AW-), Google Tag Manager (GTM-), and legacy Universal Analytics (UA-). It also checks HTTPS and duplicate IDs.

What if I load tags through Google Tag Manager?

Tags injected by GTM at runtime may not appear in the raw HTML, so if GTM is present the tool says it can't confirm from source rather than falsely reporting 'missing' — verify those in Google Tag Assistant.

Does a good score mean my tracking definitely works?

It means the tags are present and there are no obvious problems in the source — a great start. Always also confirm events actually fire using Meta Events Manager and GA4 DebugView; the tool reminds you to.
